How we work

Every garden project starts with a conversation. We listen first, then plan, then get our hands in the soil.

The process

A straightforward path from first call to finished garden.

1

Initial conversation

You tell us what you're working with. A new plot that needs everything? An overgrown garden that's gotten away from you? We ask questions, you share ideas, and we figure out if we're the right fit.

2

Site visit and assessment

We come to your property. Walk the grounds. Check soil conditions, drainage patterns, existing plants. Take measurements. Sometimes the best design ideas come from just standing there and looking.

3

Design and quote

You get a written proposal with clear pricing. For landscape design projects, this includes sketches or plans. No hidden fees. If something might cost extra, we say so upfront.

4

Installation

Our crew handles the work — whether that's laying sod, planting trees, or installing irrigation lines. We clean up when we're done. Your property won't look like a construction site.

5

Follow-up and maintenance

New plantings need attention. We check in, adjust irrigation schedules, and handle any issues that come up. And if you want ongoing care, we're here for that too.

What to expect from us

A few things that matter when you're trusting someone with your outdoor space.

01

Written quotes, fixed prices

The number we give you is the number you pay. If we hit unexpected rock or need additional materials, we discuss it before any extra charges.

02

Same crew, start to finish

The people who begin your project are the people who complete it. No rotating strangers showing up each week wondering what happened before them.

03

We return calls

Simple, but rare. You leave a message, someone calls you back. Usually the same day. During busy season, definitely within 24 hours.

04

Seasonal knowledge

Toronto weather is particular. We know which plants handle the freeze-thaw cycles, when to prune what, and why certain irrigation systems fail here. Local experience matters.

05

Cleanup included

Debris gets hauled away. Equipment doesn't linger on your lawn. When we leave for the day, the site looks orderly.

06

Long-term thinking

We design gardens that look good in year three, not just week one. That means choosing the right plants for the space they'll actually grow into.
